Tribal Governments
Tribal governments, as the governing bodies of sovereign governments, often have occasion to administer tax laws affecting other New Mexicans as well as their own tribal members.
In the same way, New Mexico, its counties and municipalities have many transactions with governments and individual members of its Native American nations, tribes and pueblos.
The information provided in this section seeks to help tribal governments in their communications with the Taxation and Revenue Department as we move toward our common goals in bettering the quality of life for all New Mexicans.
